Compendium Digital Marketing · Effective October 1, 2026
Compendium Digital Marketing ("Compendium," "we," "us") provides marketing services, including managing social media content for our clients. Compendium Digital Marketing is a trade name of Data Analysis Regression and Correlation Analytics, LLC (DARCA), darcaco.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our client portal, and the Compendium Command Center application.
Information we collect
- Account and business information: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing details you give us.
- Social account connections: if you choose to connect a Facebook Page or Instagram business account, we receive the Page or account name and ID, and an access token issued by Meta that lets us act on your behalf within the permissions you approve. We never see or store your Facebook or Instagram password. Through the Meta Graph API we access only: the name and ID of the Page you select, the username and ID of the Instagram professional account linked to it, the Page access token, and the IDs and publishing status of posts we publish for you. We do not read your followers, messages, or content posted by others.
- Content you or we create: post text, photos, videos, brand details, and approval history for your accounts.
- Usage information: basic logs such as sign-in times and actions taken in the portal, used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use information
- To create, schedule, and publish social media posts to the accounts you connect, only as you have authorized and approved.
- To provide the portal, send invoices, and support your account.
- To protect the security of our systems and prevent misuse.
We use data we receive from Meta only to provide the services described here. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising to others.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the service (for example, hosting and payment processing) and with the social platform you connect, to publish the content you approved. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and security
Access tokens are stored encrypted. Each client's content and connections are kept separate from other clients, and access is limited to authorized team members and the client. No system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
Your choices and data deletion
- Disconnect at any time: you can remove Compendium's access in your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations) or Instagram settings, or ask us to disconnect you.
- Delete your data: email us at shane@darcaco.com with your business name and request deletion. We will delete connection tokens immediately and delete your other data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
- Access or correct your information: contact us at the same address.
Retention
We keep information for as long as you are a client and for a limited period afterward for legal, tax, and security purposes, then delete or anonymize it.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date here.
